A habitat is the environment that an organism lives in. My habitat is a semi-big yellow house. It is a four-bedroom farmhouse. I have trees all around my habitat. Also, I have an in-ground swimming pool next to my house. I share my habitat with my Mother, Father, two brothers, three sisters, and my dog. There are many jobs in my habitat. A specific job an organism has in it's environment is called it's niche. My niche is doing chores. I do dishes, house cleaning, and laundry. Also, I raise animals that I must take care of everyday. In the future I see my habitat and niche changing. I want my habitat to be a four-bedroom farmhouse on a farm. I will have lots of trees around and also a barn. My niche will be being a computer technician or a farmer. My siblings share a similar niche with me. They do their own laundry, wash dishes, and house clean. My parents have a very different niche from me. They have to watch and take care of kids. Also, they must take care of normal parent's jobs, including working on the farm. As you can see, this is my habitat and niche.
